Matthew C. Albrecht

Matt enjoys meeting his clients where they live and work–much of the best work by a trial lawyer is done not in an office or courtroom, but in the field investigating and meeting with clients and witnesses in person.

A Montana native, Matt worked in construction until he moved to Spokane for college.  Expecting to return to Montana, he was surprised to fall in love with the Inland Northwest and made the move to Spokane a permanent one.  He worked his way through law school as a planner for the Washington State Department of Transportation.  Matt’s background gives him a unique knowledge of construction, real estate, and highway design law.

Matt began his legal career in Spokane before moving to work with George Ahrend for several years in Grant County.  Although he misses the wonderful small-town feel of Ephrata and seeing his friends and clients there on a daily basis, Matt and his family were also excited to return to Spokane in 2012.  He now regularly practices throughout Eastern and Central Washington with regular visits to Moses Lake and Ephrata.  Matt’s practice focuses on construction, highway design defect, personal injury, and commercial litigation.
